The work on learning the vSphere version 6 product has now begun, with the VMware vSphere 6 courses now released.
The first step therefore is to install my ESXi hosts.

VMware vSphere 6 is here.
I got an email last night telling me that VMware vSphere 6 is now in GA.
Head to download site and give it a go.
You will find plenty of documentation and information on the latest version of the VMware hypervisor on the VMware product page.
My journey now begins learning the product and hopefully delivering some useful VMware ICM and WN courses.

I have now started playing seriously with VMware vSphere 6, the reason behind this is that I am a VMware Certified Instructor, but also provide support on a couple of VMware installations.
VMware have now released a couple of small hands on labs which give a nice overview of the new technologies.
For more information. Visit
The VMware HOL website at http://labs.hol.vmware.com
The labs I found of interest were:
HOL-SDC-1408-What’s New in VSAN6
HOL-SDC-1410-What’s New in vSphere 6
Give them a go.
